MagiCast
is here! After years in development, we are pleased to offer you MagiCast!
MagiCast is a revolutionary new non-fired, air-dried, three-dimensional casting
media that can be used instead of traditional ceramic slip. MagiCast has
been specifically designed for use by home school children, small and private
schools with limited art budgets, art educators, art therapists or any groups or
individuals that do not have access to a kiln. MagiCast can be cast into
any ceramic mold. It conforms to ASTM D-4236 standards, is non-toxic, safe
for the environment, made from 100% recycled, post-consumer materials and is
break resistant once fully air dried. MagiCast is great for kids of all
ages. It makes an outstanding learning tool using our
MagiCast SmART Kits.
Petro Mold Company has been awarded the contract to design and mold a series of 10 foot tall Bronze Sculptures! They will be posted to our Fine Art Page as they progress. This is quite an honor for us and we are certain that the sculptures will exceed expectations. Each bronze artwork is estimated to weigh between 1200 to 1500 pounds. The first design is complete and the mold making phase is done. The finished bronze is anticipated in May 2013.
