SS191 Vanilla Ice                             TL125 Sunflower

TL8 Nubian Brown                            TL134 Black Forest

General Instructions:  It is easiest to not attach the porch posts in greenware as the piece will paint easier without them.   The porch posts can be glued into place after the piece is painted.   Place porch posts in place on the piece in the kiln for firing so they will fit right after firing is completed.  Fire to cone 04.

Technique:

1.  Basecoat all pieces of candy shop White.  Thin the first coat and scrub into detail.  Apply the second coat undiluted and let dry.

2. Apply Hyacinth Blue to entire piece and wipe back.  Do not forget the porch posts.  Spray and let dry.

3.  Apply Nubian Brown to roof and all wood areas.  Wipe back with a soft cloth and Solvent.  Spray and let dry.

4.  Apply Holiday Red to roof and window frames and blot.  Spray and let dry.  Add Vanilla Ice to red brush and highlight roof.  Spray and let dry.

5.  Apply Sable to all stone areas and wipe back.  Spray and let dry.

6.  Drybrush stone areas and inside sign Vanilla Ice.

7.  Apply Black Forest to grass on base and wipe back.  Spray and let dry.  Apply Sunflower and wipe back to highlight.  Spray and let dry.

8.  Detail sign as desired and glue porch posts into place with large side up.
