General Directions:  Begin with properly cleaned and fired 06 bisque.  Thin down White and apply over entire piece to get into all detail.  When dry, apply another smooth coat of undiluted White.  When dry, apply Hyacinth Blue in small areas wiping back for highlights until entire piece is covered.  Dampen a soft cloth with Solvent to wipe back highlights.  Spray with Porcelain Mist to set TL.

Technique for Cupola:

1.        Apply White Cloud to entire piece.  For the first coat, apply into all detail then spray.  Dry brush several more coats to achieve even coverage.

2.        Apply Black TL to the roof.  Wipe back highlights then spray.  Lightly dry brush with Light Gray then tip into White to further highlight.  Dry brush the corner caps with Glorious Gold and paint the very top of the finial with the same color.  Paint the eave line and second section of the finial with Chocolate.

3.        Dry brush the window frames with Dark Brown then dry brush with Chocolate.  Tip into Marigold and then into White to add highlight to frames. 

Technique for Arbor:

1.        Apply Black Forest to grass base then spray.  Apply a second coat then gently wipe back highlights and spray.  Lightly dry brush with Country Sage.  Tip into Marigold to highlight then into White to further highlight.

2.        Apply White Cloud to entire piece.  For the first coat, apply into all detail then spray.  Dry brush several more coats to achieve even coverage.   If desired, add a rose bush or ivy along the sides and over the top.

Technique for Light Post:

1.        Apply Black TL to sidewalk base.  Wipe highlights then spray.  Use a second coat if needed.  Lightly dry brush with Light Gray then tip into White to further highlight.

2.        Paint the light post with Flat Black for even color, avoiding the glass panels.  Tip brush into White to get a gray color to highlight edges.  Paint glass panels with Marigold then tip into White for highlight.  Lightly add details with Glorious Gold.
