General Directions:
Begin with properly cleaned and fired 06 bisque. Thin down White and apply over
entire piece to get into all detail. When dry, apply another smooth coat of
undiluted White. When dry, apply Hyacinth Blue in small areas wiping back for
highlights until entire piece is covered. Dampen a soft cloth with Solvent to
wipe back highlights. Spray with Porcelain Mist to set TL.
Technique for Fence
Sections:
- Apply White Cloud to each
fence section. For the first coat, apply into all detail then spray. Dry
brush several more coats to achieve even coverage.
Technique for Community
Mail Box:
- Apply Black TL to
sidewalk base. Wipe highlights then spray. Use a second coat if needed.
Lightly dry brush with Light Gray then tip into White to further highlight.
- Apply Bay Blue to the
mail box then spray. Dry brush with Rich Blue to even out color. Tip into
White to highlight. Detail with White lettering.
Technique for Family
Mailbox:
- Apply
Black Forest to grass base
then spray. Apply a second coat then gently wipe back highlights and spray.
Lightly dry brush with Country Sage. Tip into Marigold to highlight then into
White to further highlight.
- Apply 2 coats of Golden
Twinkle to post then spray. Lightly dry brush with Golden Ochre. Evenly dry
brush mailbox with Light Gray then dry brush with Shimmering Silver. Paint
the flag with Antique Red.
