General Directions:  Begin with properly cleaned and fired 06 bisque.  Thin down White and apply over entire piece, getting into all detail.  When dry, apply another coat of undiluted White.  Allow to dry.   Apply Hyacinth Blue in small areas wiping back for highlights until entire piece is covered.  Dampen a soft cloth with Solvent to wipe back further highlights.  Spray with Porcelain Mist to set TL.  Reminder:  In this technique, sometimes more than one coat of TL is necessary.  Therefore, the color must be sprayed with Porcelain Mist between each coat in order to not lift the first layer.

Technique

  1. Apply Maple on brick, spray and repeat.  Randomly apply Brick Red and Lt. Umber to some bricks, spray and put 1 light coat of Maple over the brick again to soften.  Spray.
  2. Paint trim and all doors with Lt. Umber.  Lightly drybrush garage door with Rich Peach.  Paint the glass panes in the doors with Sky Blue Pearl.  Paint all door handles with Shimmering Silver.
  3. Apply Forest Green to roof shingles, wipe back and spray.  Lightly drybrush entire roof with Buttermilk.  Randomly apply another coat of Forest Green to some shingles.  Spray.
  4. Apply Ginger Oak to the foundation and the chimney.  Spray.  Randomly apply Rich Walnut to some chimney bricks.  Paint the chimney cap with Rich Walnut.  Spray.
  5. Apply Black Forest to the grass and wipe back unevenly.  Spray.  Highlight with Sunflower and Tangelo.
  6. Apply two coats of Slate Gray to the driveway and sidewalks, spraying between each coat.  Drybrush with Ivory Tusk.
  7. Paint the steps with Forest Green.  Drybrush with Accent Green.
  8. Paint the rocks on the base of the piece with Coal Gray.  Spray.  Drybrush with Light Gray for highlights.
  9. Spray the entire piece and allow to dry.
