The Doctor's office in Marianville is located in this stately residence, owned and operated by Dr. Pete E. Atrick.  Most town doctors of the time operated their practices from their homes, and since they usually were fairly well-to-do, their homes were quite large and luxurious.  This brick estate is quite typical in many New England towns as well as many mid-western and southern states.
